# Atomically patch and publish an entity layout

## Description

Applies a versioned, closed batch of add, update, remove, reorder, and container-settings operations to one canonical layout. The batch is validated in memory and then saved and published in one revision-CAS transaction. Exact Idempotency-Key replays return the original revision and generated IDs.

## Parameters

- `entity_type` (query, required, `string`) — Layout-bearing entity catalog key.
- `id` (path, required, `string`) — Resource identifier (UUID).
- `Idempotency-Key` (header, required, `string`) — Caller-generated key for deterministic command replay (1-255 characters).
